its a non governmental org which preserves traditional heritage trails of buildings and etc.

thts the house...which they moved from Kedah
owned by this Penghulu Abu Samad ...which he bought previously from Perak
and then move to Kedah..just the Rumah Ibu...slowly, he add in the other compartments..like playing LEGO
the transition space between the public area (for men) and the private area (for women)
nice patterning on their building/ house's carvings
main entrance to the public/community space
coz the owner is a chief of several villages
so...whenever he got businesses etc etc...the villagers will gather here...
also
there's a temporary lock-up in the community space (also the chief's office)
the facade of the main house (Rumah Ibu)
they call it the Rumah Ibu coz the measurement unit, is from the mother of the family
her arm length out-stretched straight (depa)
cool huh? women power~
thts their basement (open air)
store their atap roof, sometimes food, children's play area, nap area, a space to socialise among the family members and also the villagers
also...whenever the Sultan (traditional dictators) come and pay a visit
there's their 'carpark'...to park their elephants
cool huh?
