8. then i realise i didnt bring my drawings tht i rendered whole day yesterday
(its the second interim crit today) so screwed without them
9. realised i didnt bring my hp either
(end up borrow phone frm Ms Baizura n call mom)
10. mom not free to bring my drawings for me fr home

thus...i have to rush back to kepong
and bring tht small little roll of paper here

end up paying 11 tolls in total

This year's MSID Student Saturday is in IIUM
(International Islamic University of Malaysia)
Came here for the APSDA Student Workshop 2 years back...
it wasnt a very good experience that time...yet we enjoyed meeting great peeps
George, Keith, Adam, Martin, Adelyn, Adrian etc etc...miss u guys
Some of the juniors actually came here for another event,
which is the PAM Student Camp last year, which was also in IIUM.

The host added some funky elements with this year's theme
Futurama
at the Registration Counter...the Red, Yellow thing hanging from top...
a bit spooky when you are all alone at their lobby area...but its cool~!

sad we can only send 1...



Inside the itemnaries that they have issued out previously,
we have seminars and talks
after our registration in their Auditorium until 1530...
Before that, we had this teabreak at their Baiduri Courtyard...
where they serve us Rose Syrup, Fruits and Sushi

During that talk, there were 2 sessions...
one by Ar. Zaini Zainul, from Dubus Richez,
one by Mr Ian Davies/Iskandar Abdullah (a Muslim from UK)...

and i find this picture below...very interesting...



Mr Ian Davies actually showed us this video - Sketches of Frank Gehry...
but we were too far away from the schedule, and had to leave after 10 minutes of the documentary was on screen (after Mr. Davies' seminar)

and thats how we looked at the end of the race...

little food left for foragers...luckily i drove the UCSI ladies from the dorm,
we only get lil portion of Laksa and BBQ mutton...
and peeps..its really nice~!!!
(its just that they have slight miscalculation on the food's quantity)

Then...its the Performance night, at the IIUM Auditorium...
sadly, UCSI didnt take part...

Spikey Nutty Emo day

morning's Theory of Architecture class has drove me crazy
there's this ridiculous assignment...a Presentation of theories by various architects
and its in a1 size presentation boards' format
why wont just use Powerpoint? save some trees la please~

then...afternoon class in K303
one of the 'aquariums'
but its not available coz they are replacing the normal tables with drafting tables
and the moving in and out task is not yet done

thus...here we are, the UCSI Conference Room

went home... having terrible headache
and mom came back from the night market nearby with bags of durians
we have been asking begging craving for it for quite some time
believe me
this is just the appetizer for the whole durian season
coz the whole family...lovveesss durian...
except for dad...he has bad stomach..hard to digest sort of..
but he does know how to pick the nicest durian ever



average taste..but filling
love the bitter-ness...though its a bit sweet



TV + Durian + sofa + breeze after rain... isn't it nice?

PS the emo of the day that i have been thru is lessen-ed by the durians...

Past / Present Tense?

Last week, went out with Alice, HuiYing, FishBall and HuiShien...High School group of people...
Friends who i have hung out with the most during the school days (except for the fish, he is Alice's primary+secondary+current friend)

Again, we have decided to meet up in Station One Menjalara. They serve ordinary 'steaks' and fried stuffs..but we went there for a Yamcha session...love their Jasmine Tea and the ambience
perfect spot for another b*tch talk..
(dont consider that stupid Fish a guy...coz a normal guy wont ransack* your handbags everytime they got into your car)

Came out to pre-celebrate tht FishBall's bday...its not that early..somewhere 30th June if I am not mistaken...
but by that time, Alice will not be free to be around KL...so...celebrate earlier
and we definitely need an update from HuiShien...coz she have been disappearing for almost 2 yrs?

She took a different route from what we does...she graduated STPM and now working as a Direct Sales Company Salesperson...apart from waiting the University invitations to the students...quite high her pay...



Back to the celebration...instead of ANOTHER Secret Recipe's Choc Indulgence...we had a Baskin Robbin's Rainbow...U r right~! a tumbler of BR ice cream <-- actually Sorbet

didnt drive there coz its easier taking public transport
plus...promised michelle to walk to PWTC from Putra KTM together

so...there we were
reach PWTC around 930
thought Baizura will be there..
she didnt make it there coz she was so sick of it
after 3 days of meetings there

we were kinda seperated isolated alienated from the exhibition crowd
coz we are all locked in at the Tun Hussein Onn Hall

it feels so nice re-meet these peoples
hope tht can get the pics soon...who has?

the thing ended somewhere 1pm..
then...they serve us light lunch
was thinking to sneak out of the workshop to McD nearby
but after we gone through the foods they serve
it was okay though
so...free lunch is always the choice~!

then...we mingle around at the exhibition
the entrance is eye catching

but the overall exhibition is meant for traders
my mom went and she told me tht she cant understand much of the stuffs
coz these manufacturers and companies are more to selling their products to designers
rather than promoting it to public
a bit harsh..
this might be one of the reasons why local design business is so stereotyped
and turned into 'prostitution design'
the client is not well educated
not even the materials...
this is business i guess...

was following michelle around
since they dont really entertain 'delegates'
michelle is freelancing...so...namecard do a lot of magics
and Eng too...then...
met eng's friend...he can really talk non stop~
beh tahan~

of course...highlight lar
